About Us
Over 22+ years building custom homes in Dallas Fort Worth and surrounding cities.
It’s Not Just A House,
It’s Your Dream Home.
When the conversation turns to custom homebuilding, most everyone has a story to tell. Frederick Brown founded B & J Custom Homes to give Dallas area homeowners a superior experience ensuring a happy ending to their custom homebuilding journey. From design to move-in, uncompromising standards are seen in unrivalled quality and industry best practices putting you first, while enhancing the value of your investment.
Extraordinary Construction is a Family Tradition.
Coming from a family of builders, it’s fair to say Frederick’s passion for construction is in the family DNA, learning first-hand from the magnificent homes and luxury hotels his father built in Jamaica. Later, while serving as a combat engineer in the United States Army, the construction of roads and bridges in war zones yielded invaluable lessons about how to achieve highest quality and assure safety and durability despite the myriad of logistical challenges that are often beyond control.
